Stakeholder feedback

We work very closely with our stakeholders (including students, families and funders) and are therefore receiving constant feedback which helps shape our ways of working.

We undertake a student questionnaire twice a year and a parent/carer survey annually to capture feedback formally and to identify areas for development. Some headlines are included below:

Parent/carer questionnaire (July 2024)

100% of parents ‘strongly agreed’ or ‘agreed’ with the following statements:

  • I would recommend Lapwing to another parent/carer

All parent/carers, apart from one, ‘strongly agreed’ or ‘agreed’ that:

  • My child/young person is happy at Lapwing

  • There is a good range of subjects and activities available to my child/young person at Lapwing and the provision is tailored to their interests

  • My child/young person has special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and Lapwing gives them the support they need to succeed

  • When I have raised concerns with Lapwing they have been dealt with properly

  • My son/daughter/child does well at Lapwing

  • Lapwing let me know how my child/young person is doing

  • Lapwing supports my child/young person’s wider personal development
